Dr Marisella Ouma is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over twenty-five years of well-rounded experience in law specializing in Intellectual Property. She was one of the founding Directors of Akili Dada, and has been involved in various mentorship programmes. for girls and young women. She is currently the Head of Legal at the Central Bank of Kenya. She has been involved in various research projects on intellectual property, innovation, and governance and is widely published. She holds a Doctorate in Intellectual Property from Queen Mary, University of London, an LLM from Stockholm University and an LLB from the University of Nairobi. She is currently the Deputy General Counsel at the Central Bank of Kenya.
