Hellen Nzinga - Executive Director / CEO Hellen is a manager of sustainable projects and advertising at UCSal. Communicator, she taught young people from the outskirts of the communication and entrepreneurship courses of the Trilha program of the Government of the State of Bahia. Hellen is also certified in Political Innovation by Asuntos Del Sur and awarded for education and technology projects, she was selected as a leader by the international fund Baobá and awarded by Mckinsey & Co. as one of the most influential female leaders in Brazil in 2021, in addition to being One Young World Ambassador. Hellen was also a Consultant for the Advocacy of Black Women within the Criola Climate Change Agenda where she presented her work at COP 27. Hellen is co-founder and executive at EcoCiclo, a brand that developed the first 100% biodegradable Brazilian sanitary pad, and that expanded its impact through the marketplace of sustainable products made by women, income generation, and women's education.

Lígia Batista is executive director of the Marielle Franco Institute. She graduated in Law from the Fluminense Federal University and is currently a master's student in Public Policy and Human Rights at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, producing analyses on democracy and the challenges to the political representation of black women. He has worked for 10 years in international organizations focused on defending human rights and promoting racial and gender justice in Brazil and Latin America. He is also a fellow of the United Nations International Decade for People of African Descent (2015-2024).

Kátia Helena Serafina Cruz Schweikardt, is a Professor at the Federal University of Amazonas. He was the Municipal Secretary of the Environment between 2013-2015. And Municipal Secretary of Education of Manaus between 2015 and 2020. When she took over, SEMED-Manaus was in 20th position among Brazilian capitals in the Basic Education Development Index, and during her management, it was among the 10 best capitals. This result was the result of integrated and shared management, carried out many hands ago, of inspiring and motivating leadership, and above all from the many lessons learned in educational practice with the collective implementation of Integral Education Schools in Manaus and in the reorganization, reconstruction and " remaking" of teacher training processes. Management learned in everyday life and in the practices of transformative schools, riverside, and indigenous schools in the Amazon. She is currently the National Secretary of Basic Education at the Ministry of Education. She was awarded the Inês e Vasconcelos Medal by the Legislative Assembly of Amazonas, in 2020, for the relevant services provided to Public Education. She was awarded the 2020 Public Spirit Award, as a national highlight in the Education Category.

In addition to the franchise market, the brand now packages its products for large supermarket chains and emporiums in Brazil. With more than 50 franchised units, 5 of which are popcorn-themed cafes and the rest kiosks, spread across all regions of Brazil, the group is now launching Pop Milky - Popcorn and Popcorn Milkshakes stores and kiosks. A different, young, light, and unusual experience. The Group was accelerated by entities such as Endeavor and Sebrae. Attentive to diversity and inclusion policies, the CEO has more than 80% of her team of leaders, made up of diverse people (women, black people, gays, trans). This policy extends to entrepreneurs, today with more than 80% female franchisees, the group is beginning to attract more black people to undertake business with the brand, with flexible conditions for expansion within the network. With this performance, she was elected one of the 100 most influential black personalities in Lusofonia by Bantumen - Powerlist 100 in 2023.

Among the skills developed over the last 20 years is the design, curation, and management of corporate and community events aiming to co-create Employer Branding / Engagement / Experience strategies. Digital Products Consultant, the current highlight project is consultancy for the construction of the Nath Play 2.0 platform, a product from the company Nath Finance. The work involves the intersection of business, technology, and user experience, translating market trends into guidelines for the technical team.

Independent researcher in Internet Governance with the topic of Algorithmic Discrimination in the Labor Market (Recruitment/HR platforms) and Ethics in Artificial Intelligence. With these experiences, I have accumulated recognitions such as “100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics" in 2021 and LinkedIn Top Voice in IA 2023, in addition to teaching for 03 years a class on Algorithmic Discrimination in the Labor Market in the Anti-Racist Training Course in Law and Collective Technology Aqualtune. Maria Aparecida da Silva Bento, or Cida Bento, was born in São Paulo (SP). PhD in psychology, in 2002 she defended the thesis entitled "Narcissistic pacts in racism: whiteness and power in business organizations and public authorities". She is a counselor and one of the founders of the Center for the Study of Labor Relations and Inequalities (Ceert). She was a visiting professor at the University of Texas and, in 2015, was chosen by the British magazine The Economist as one of the fifty most influential people in the world in the field of diversity.

Márcia Regina de Lima Silva is the Secretariat for Affirmative Action Policies, Combating and Overcoming Racism at the Ministry of Racial Equality. Professor at the Department of Sociology at the University of São Paulo. She is a senior researcher associated with the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP), where she coordinated the AFRO-Center for Research and Training in Race, Gender, and Racial Justice. She has a PhD in Sociology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2001). He held a Post-Doctorate at the University of Columbia (2011-2012) and was a Visiting Fellow at the Afro-Latin American Research Institute (ALARI) of the Hutchins Center for African and African American Studies at Harvard University (2016-2017). Its research themes are racial inequalities and race relations, with an emphasis on gender and race, education, the labor market, and affirmative action policies.

Erika Hilton is the first black and trans-Federal Deputy elected in the history of Brazil. In SP, it received 256,903 votes, being the 9th most voted in the state. Currently, she is the Leader of the Psol-Rede Bench, president of the Mixed Parliamentary Front for Citizenship and LGBTI+ Rights of the National Congress, and vice-president of the Commission on Human Rights, Minorities and Racial Equality. Furthermore, she was a member of the Commission that investigated the coup attacks on January 8, 2023, in Brazil. She was the president of the Human Rights Commission of the São Paulo City Council in 2012 and 2022, during her term as councilor of the city of São Paulo, having received the most votes in the 2020 municipal elections. In the city, she was the author of the Law that created the Municipal Fund to Combat Hunger and presided over the first CPI that investigated the origins and causes of violence against trans and transvestite people. Erika was named twice by TIME Magazine as one of the 100 leaders of the new generation, in 2021 and 2023, she entered the list of the 100 most influential people of African descent in the world and one of the five global activists awarded for her fight to defend the LGBTQIA+ community by the MTV European Music Awards."

MARIA JOSÉ, 50 YEARS OLD, is a social worker, resident of Salvador (BA), and has worked with fishing communities for 20 years. He is a member of the Fishermen's Pastoral Council (CPP), the Mahin Collective, the Black Coalition for Rights, and a Specialist in the Rights of Peoples and Traditional Communities from the UFBA Faculty of Law. Zezé, as she likes to be called, carries out a range of advisory work for fishing, shellfish, quilombola, and traditional communities affected by a predatory development model that causes land conflicts, environmental degradation, and human rights violations for these populations. It contributes to the expansion of complaints of environmental racism, legal support, and mobilization to demand solutions from the powers that be. Among the communities monitored are the quilombos Boca do Rio, Riacho de Santo Antônio, Quilombo Zumbi, and communities on Ilha de Maré. The Mangrove inspires Zezé for being the birthplace of many species, a very important ecosystem in the world with immense roots that are in the open air, showing that life must be respected in all its forms.

Created the Teacher Training Program - Uneb 2000 Network, today with approximately 10,000 graduated teachers in 275 municipalities in Bahia. Enabled the operation of community pre-university courses for people of African descent, implementing exemption from selection fees (entrance exams) for students from these courses; establishing quotas for people of African descent at the university in 2002. Professional with multiple knowledge, socially and emotionally recognized, laureate, representative of different sectors of Civil Society, the Knowledge Society, different levels and structures of power and knowledge. He served, generally as a member of renowned knowledge, on the State Councils: Education, Development of Black Communities, Policies for Indigenous Peoples, Human Rights, Policies for Women, and the National Council for the Promotion of Racial Equality and IPHAN. She served as Superintendent of Human Rights at the Secretariat of Justice, Citizenship and Human Rights of the State Government and currently as Secretary of Reparations at the Municipality of Salvador, where she develops the programs – Salvador sem Racismo, through the Program to Combat Institutional Racism (PCRI ), from the Observatory of Racial Discrimination and LGBT Violence Against Women, Seal of Ethnic-Racial Diversity and support for traditional communities, quilombolas and Candomblé terreiros, Affirmative Actions for black people and the LGBT+ community based on the Seal of LGBT+ Diversity. Ivete was born in the city of Salvador, is a widow, mother of three children; Djara Mahim, Tansir Omoni and James Akim; and grandmother of Enzo Akin and Ben Akim. In parallel to her academic life, Ivete has always been linked to the fight against racism and the defense of citizenship and human rights, with an emphasis on black communities, LGBT+ communities, the elderly, children, teenagers, and LGBTQIA+ citizenship.

She is the Founder and President of She the People, the nation's leading organization dedicated to an America redefined and inspired by women of color.Renowned for her national efforts to build inclusive, multiracial coalitions, Allison organized and moderated the nation's first presidential forum for women of color, attended by Presidential candidates and more than 1,000 women from across the country, garnering major national press.At She the People, Allison leverages media, research, and analysis to show the power of the women of color electorate, increase voter engagement, and advocate for racial, economic, and gender justice. In her writings in The New York Times, Newsweek, The Washington Post, and Essence Magazine, Allison has made the definitive case that women of color are the saving graces of our American democracy.Her early experience growing up in a multiracial family and searching for belonging in mostly white communities honed her ability to build bridges with others often marginalized and dismissed. Her work is firmly grounded in finding shared history and a common vision to create new political and cultural pathways to change.Allison holds a B.A. in History and an M.A. in Education from Stanford University. In the early 1990s, Allison earned a rare honorable discharge from the U.S. Army as a conscientious objector, launching 30 years of efforts to build communities and launch campaigns grounded in love, justice, and belonging. Lady Justice Kossy studied law at the University of Nairobi and was engaged in private practice of law before she joined the Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission as an attorney and investigator for over 10 years where conducted investigations on the illegal alienation of public assets and represented the commission in recovery proceedings filed in court. She pursued alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in asset recovery and was instrumental in the recovery of public land including land reserved for schools, water treatment and distribution, public beach, Uhuru Gardens, Mombasa, court land, prison land, public clinic’s land, ferry land and road reserves among others.When the Asset Recovery Inter-Agency Network for Eastern Africa (ARINEA) was formed in Kigali in November 2013, she was elected as the first President ARINEA a position she held until September 2016. She championed inter-agency cooperation and coordination among the law enforcement agencies and was instrumental in international cooperation initiatives on asset recovery targeting proceeds of crime. Kossy was appointed a Judge of the Environment and Land Court in December 2016. She was elected President of the Kenya Judges Welfare Association in September 2021 and served for two years. She served in the Committee that drafted the Judicial Code of Conduct. She enjoys reading, taking long walks and finds time to spend in nature for inner peace. She is passionate about the environment, justice, integrity, public service and women empowerment. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Women’s, Children’s and Nature’s Rights in Environmental Governance.

She is the current President and CEO of AnitaB.org, a global nonprofit organization that works to connect and empower women and nonbinary people in technology, with a vision of intersectional gender equity and pay parity in the tech ecosystem.With over 30 years of experience in the technology industry, Brenda is a vocal advocate for diversity and inclusion in the field. She is a recognized leader in the movement to make computer science education accessible to all, regardless of gender, race, or socioeconomic background.Prior to joining AnitaB.org, she spent 8+ years managing computer science and information technology for Chicago Public Schools (CPS). In 2011, while she was still at CPS, she founded the groundbreaking Computer Science for All program, which aims to maximize the potential of every student through a computer science education defined by equity, empowerment, and opportunity. Also, during that time, Brenda participated in the founding of the Chicago chapter of Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA). She pursued alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in asset recovery and was instrumental in the recovery of public land including land reserved for schools, water treatment and distribution, public beach, Uhuru Gardens, Mombasa, court land, prison land, public clinic’s land, ferry land and road reserves among others.When the Asset Recovery Inter-Agency Network for Eastern Africa (ARINEA) was formed in Kigali in November 2013, she was elected as the first President ARINEA a position she held until September 2016. She championed inter-agency cooperation and coordination among the law enforcement agencies and was instrumental in international cooperation initiatives on asset recovery targeting proceeds of crime. Kossy was appointed a Judge of the Environment and Land Court in December 2016. She was elected President of the Kenya Judges Welfare Association in September 2021 and served for two years. MARIA JOSÉ, 50 YEARS OLD, is a social worker, resident of Salvador (BA), and has worked with fishing communities for 20 years. He is a member of the Fishermen's Pastoral Council (CPP), the Mahin Collective, the Black Coalition for Rights, and a Specialist in the Rights of Peoples and Traditional Communities from the UFBA Faculty of Law. Zezé, as she likes to be called, carries out a range of advisory work for fishing, shellfish, quilombola, and traditional communities affected by a predatory development model that causes land conflicts, environmental degradation, and human rights violations for these populations. It contributes to the expansion of complaints of environmental racism, legal support, and mobilization to demand solutions from the powers that be. Among the communities monitored are the quilombos Boca do Rio, Riacho de Santo Antônio, Quilombo Zumbi, and communities on Ilha de Maré. The Mangrove inspires Zezé for being the birthplace of many species, a very important ecosystem in the world with immense roots that are in the open air, showing that life must be respected in all its forms.

She was the president of the Human Rights Commission of the São Paulo City Council in 2012 and 2022, during her term as councilor of the city of São Paulo, having received the most votes in the 2020 municipal elections. In the city, she was the author of the Law that created the Municipal Fund to Combat Hunger and presided over the first CPI that investigated the origins and causes of violence against trans and transvestite people.
